Playing Safely

As the warm weather and the long summer holiday approaches it is time to remind you to find a safe place to play when you are outside.

The roads, as you have been told many times this year are very busy and can be extremely dangerous and are not the place to play.

It is very important to find a safe place like we have in our school playground.

Parks, gardens and playing fields are usually far safer places to play than the roadside

When you are out with your friends, riding your bike, playing football, on your skates or skateboard and having fun it is very easy to forget all that we have learnt this year about keeping safe on the roads.

Many children are injured on the roads when out playing and this often happens close to home so please do be careful.

We will be moving to our new school soon and there may be new JRSO’s here, perhaps you or you.

So, our last message is have a happy holiday and always remember, wherever you go……..
