If you are cycling in the dark the law states that your bike must be fitted with a white front light, a red back light and a red rear reflector. Additional reflectors at the front on your wheels and pedals are a good idea. Always take care to keep lights and reflectors clean and make sure that nothing hangs down to obscure the back ones.
